Local election information

The Scottish Local Government elections took place on Thursday 5 May across the country. The election used a proportional representation system called the Single Transferable Vote. Information on candidates, hustings, party and campaign manifestoes are below.

The administration in Glasgow is an SNP minority with support from the Green Party.
