  1. Our Work

Community Green Team

Our Community Green Team is our volunteering and training programme. We aim to provide volunteering opportunities across all our key work areas.

We have a range of volunteer opportunities including events assistant, community clean up assistant, bike workshop assistant, bike mechanic, community garden assistant, cycle champion, Board member and more.

Some of our volunteer opportunities take place on a regular basis in the same location, such as the bike workshop assistant. Whereas others such as community garden assistant and community clean up assistant take place at different times and places.

“A choice to give time or energy, a choice undertaken of one’s own free will and a choice not motivated for financial gain or for a wage or salary” The Scottish Government, Volunteering for All – Our National Framework

We also work with other local organisations on the Glasgow WAVE (West Area Volunteer Experience) Project so if we don't have a suitable volunteer opportunity for you we are sure we will know an organisation that does.

Glasgow Eco Trust is proud to be a Volunteer Friendly organisation.
