As part of the Community Litter Prevention Action Plan and #LitterFree campaign a litter prevention poster competition is being run with local primary schools in Whiteinch and Scotstoun.

The schools that took part were Scotstoun Primary, St Paul's Primary and Whiteinch Primary.

Each school selected 7 posters from all the entries in their school to go through to the final selection of 21 posters. The community partners then voted on the 3 winners.

Winners

There were some fantastic entries and we are delighted to announce the three winners. Congratulations to the overall winner Ella (Scotstoun Primary) and to the runners up Maya (St Paul's Primary) and Sam (Scotstoun Primary). The three winning posters, which are shown below, will start to appear in Whiteinch and Scotstoun over the coming weeks.

This project is being coordinated by Glasgow Eco Trust in partnership with Scotstoun Community Council and Whiteinch Community Council and supported by Glasgow City Council.

The project is funded by Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association as part of their Community Partnership Agreement with Glasgow Eco Trust.
