The Food and Climate Action project is an ambitious project linking together Glasgow Community Food Network, Urban Roots, St Paul's Youth Forum, The Space, Glasgow Eco Trust and Central and West Integration Network to transform Glasgow’s food system and reduce its impact on the climate crisis.
A new project aiming to transform Glasgow’s food system and reduce its impact on the climate crisis is today receiving £629,582 of National Lottery funding.
The funding goes to Glasgow Community Food Network and partners, who will work alongside local people across the city to co-create a food system that is fair, healthy, sustainable and kinder to the environment.
Glasgow's 'Worrying about Money?' leaflet is designed to help people experiencing financial insecurity, and those supporting them, to easily identify and access appropriate financial support and advice.
This section provides people with advice and information about growing their own food including growing food in containers and small spaces. It also includes advice on how to avoid food waste.
The Glasgow City Food Plan consultation has been launched. The plan aims to tackle a range of environmental, health and well being challenges by improving the food system. The consultation is open until the end of December 2020.
