Since February 2017 Glasgow Eco Trust has been facilitating the Victoria Park Action Group which is a partnership of local organisations interested in the strategic development of Victoria Park.

Community Placemaking

In Autumn 2016 Glasgow City Council commissioned EKOS consultants to under a Community Placemaking for Victoria Park.

More than 40 people from 17 local organisations contributed to the Community Placemaking and the consultants produced a draft Strategic Plan for the Park along with a Draft Action Plan to be completed in order to produce the Strategic Plan.

Following the completion of the Victoria Park Community Placemaking process in February 2017 Glasgow Eco Trust offered to facilitate a further series of meetings in order to further develop the Action Plan and the Development Plan that had been drafted by the consultants.

The Victoria Park Action Group has been progressing the Action Plan over the past 18 months. All reports and paper relating to the Community Placemaking and the Action Group are available on the Council's website.
