Glasgow City Council and Glasgow Life have recently announced that Whiteinch Library, which is in a listed building of historical significance, will not re-open following the pandemic. The Council has also stated that they are looking to relocate some of the library services to Scotstoun Leisure Centre as part of their community hub strategy. Whiteinch Library is one of over 70 facilities across the city that are likely to be affected by closure or a change in service provision including Maryhill Library, Peterson Park pitches and Yoker Sports Centre.
