Events and News News Litter free poster winners As part of the #LitterFreeG14 campaign and community litter prevention action plan project a poster competition was held with local primary schools. There were some fantastic entries and we are delighted to announce the three winners. Congratulations to the overall winner Ella (Scotstoun Primary) and to the runners up Maya (St Paul's Primary) and Sam (Scotstoun Primary). The three winning posters will start to appear in Whiteinch and Scotstoun over the coming weeks. The #LitterFreeG14 project looks at what steps the community can take to prevent litter happening. A key element is closer collaboration between the various organisations and greater engagement with local businesses and schools. The initial focus of the project will be the Whiteinch and Scotstoun neighbourhoods in G14 and the local businesses along sections of Dumbarton Road. This project is being coordinated by Glasgow Eco Trust in partnership with Scotstoun Community Council and Whiteinch Community Council and supported by Glasgow City Council. The project is funded by Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association as part of their Community Partnership Agreement with Glasgow Eco Trust.
