Join Glasgow Eco Trust for our next series of Cuppa, Community and Climate cafes to see how our communities can respond to the climate crisis.

Following on from our previous community climate conversations and cafes we are keen to maintain the momentum and will be hosting another series of climate cafes.

Most Scots are concerned about climate change, but are uncertain / overwhelmed and unsure how to respond. Social research shows that through conversations with people we trust we make sense of confusing information and decide what to do about it.

Having lots of quality conversations about climate change is one of the most effective things we can do to stop it.

Come along and hear about our Community Centre-d Climate Action project. We will also discuss over a cup of tea what goes into a cup of tea, consider the story of a can and look at our connections to each other, our communities as well as to nature and the planet.

I’ve been truly surprised by the impact of my Conversation amongst friends who were previously silent on this issue. We are still talking about it nine months on!” – Jarrod, host

This series of events will run over the next couple of months and take place at Heart of Scotstoun Community Centre. The events will run from 1230 to 230pm and a free lunch will be provided.
