Over the past couple of years there have been a range of issues raised by the local community with regards to Scotstoun Stadium when large events are taking place, in particular when Glasgow Warriors rugby team are playing at home.

Glasgow Warriors have been working hard to address these issues and encourage more fans to travel to games by public transport and various improvements have been made. They have also held regular meetings with the community to keep them informed of progress in addressing issues. However there are still on going issues and resolving issues in some areas has created issues in other areas.

Glasgow Eco Trust has been working with some of the local community councils and residents associations on this issue. We have set up a simple neighbourhood survey to gather information in a consistent manner to help inform discussions. The survey is available online and there is also a PDF version available.

The survey responses will be compiled and shared with partners and used to inform the ongoing discussions with the Glasgow Warriors.

If you experience any issues in the local area on days when there is a match at Scotstoun Stadium you are advised to call Police Scotland on 101 and report the issue

The Glasgow Warriors included travel information in our Scotstounhill Destination Station map to encourage more fans to walk, cycle and travel by public transport.

There are various documents relating to the Scotstoun Stadium development, the traffic assessment and travel plan issues on the Glasgow City Council planning portal.

The survey is based on a similar survey that has been used to good effect by Mount Florida Community Council with regards to events at Hampden Stadium.
