Glasgow Eco Trust is delighted to be working in partnership with the Adam Smith Economic Society (ASES) at the University of Glasgow.

The Society aims to provide their members the necessary skills and relationships to develop as individuals and prepare them for their future career paths. At a recent members dinner they held a raffle to raise funds for Glasgow Eco Trust, which was both unexpected and very much appreciated.

Following on from this Glasgow Eco Trust met with Society representatives to look at how we could support them to increase awareness of environmental issues and the climate emergency as well as ways they can reduce their and their member’s environmental impact.

ASES values the environment and has committed to support the University of Glasgow Sustainability Strategy. The University was the first university in Scotland to declare a climate emergency.

There is more information about ASES on their website on their Facebook page and on Instagram
