You'll all be aware that Glasgow is hosting COP26 in a couple of weeks. The COP26 Coalition is organising a Global Day of Action on Sat 6 Nov which will include a protest march from Kelvingrove Park to Glasgow Green.

The wonderful people at Pedal On Parliament and Go Bike have asked Glasgow Eco Trust and De'ils On Wheels to pull together this feeder ride to join the main march in Kelvingrove Park.

The meeting point for departure is the Clydebank Bandstand. Meeting from 1015 for a 1030 departure and stopping in Yoker, Scotstoun and Partick on the way to Kelvingrove Park for midday!

The ride will be family friendly and open to all who want to join. It will be led by a few of us to help keep us all together, so there will be someone at the front and the back for sure and a few people dotted in the middle.

Other groups may join us at the start or meet on route (as may any of you) so I'd encourage to you keep this date free, come along with us and let the global leaders know that climate change is a real danger and they need to act now.

Once in the park we will join the Cycling/Sustainable Travel bloc of the march. There are 13 different themed blocs in total. The march will go from Kelvingrove Park through the City Centre to Glasgow Green for a rally at 3pm. Please note you will need to push your bike during the march.

It would be great to see lots of you out on the day to ride with us!
