Glasgow Eco Trust family led cycle rides as part of our Active Travel programme. The rides are open to anyone but aimed at people who are looking to improve their cycling and want to explore the local area. Adults can bring up to two children and children must be over 8 years old, able to cycle and with a roadworthy bike.

Please meet at the Cheery Tree Cafe at Heart of Scotstoun Community Centre at 10am. The ride will depart at 1030am. The ride will be up to 2 hours long and approx 10 miles. The ride will return to the Cafe for soup and a sandwich or coffee and cake.

Booking is not required for this event

Please note:

  • You need to bring your own bike and helmet (optional)
  • Please make sure the bike is roadworthy - we will do a basic check before you leave
  • If you haven't been on a ride with us before you will need to complete a short registration form
  • The ride will be led by at least two experienced cyclists and qualified ride leaders.
  • Adults can bring up to two children and children must be over 8 years old, able to cycle and with a roadworthy bike.
